"In der Zukunft leben" (Living in the future)
is an architecture and an art installation in co-operation with the artist
Christoph Hinterhuber, which embodies itself spatially and artistically
according to the theme in the new event space of ELEKTRO GÖNNER.
Graphically interpreted astronauts, about to depart from Earth, float
still upright on vertical surfaces, and penetrate from the outside into
the depth of the event space, up to a lit ellipse, which exemplary resembles
a ' gate ' to a ' new world ' and constitutes at the same time an atmospheric
and spaceproducing element in this area. The whole space flow of ELEKTRO
GÖNNER becomes thus inscribed atmospherically and contentwise in
a new way. The installation is the starting point for four further installations,
which will develop from the co-operation between architects and artists.
